October, 2007 we formed a new, wholly integrated, junior club.
Up to this point all juniors were ordinary members of the main club; however, the new club means that we can structure special events just for the juniors and even arrange for inter-club matches with juniors of other clubs.
The juniors have a dedicated representative on the main committee and this representative is either a junior themselves between 16 and 18 years old or is a parent of a current junior.
The club maintains senior members that are CRB checked and approved at an enhanced level by the GNAS and have been trained in the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

As of August, 2008, the junior club had nine members, three of whom shoot for Sussex and one of these, Thomas Hooper, for the second year running is the Sussex junior champion for both indoors and outdoors shooting recurve, the other, Daniel Allen, is outdoor compound champion in his first season shooting compound.

At the intercounties tournament, held in Essex during August, Sam and
Thomas (left two pictured above) were key members of the team that won
the recurve cup for Sussex.
